The 35W DC Ballast helps to preserve the longevity of your HID bulbs while still supplying it the 35W needed to be 3-5 times brighter than Halogens
The Ballast is the Power controller behind your HID kit. It regulates the voltage pushed to your HID Bulbs. A Ballast is required for HIDs to work.
